Taylor has been immersed in the horse world for nearly two decades, bringing over 19 years of riding experience and hands on horsemanship to her lesson program. As both a rider and horse owner, she combines practical knowledge with a deep respect for the partnership between horse and rider.

She spent several years at Cal Poly Pomona as a student instructor, where she trained and mentored fellow students while also starting young horses. During this time, Taylor continued to develop her riding skills and communication with horses, as well as developing thoughtful training methods that prioritize the wellbeing of both horse and rider. Her riding career includes multiple national and regional titles, many earned alongside her perfect palomino ‘Honey’, one of the trusted lesson horses in the program.

Honey is known for her steady, dependable nature and her ability to take great care of every rider she works with. She helps students build confidence and strong fundamentals in the saddle, and she knows her job exceptionally well. Fun fact: Honey is a National Champion in western sidesaddle! Taquitto, another of the lesson horses, is equally special in a different way. He is remarkable at forming deep connections with his riders and encourages students to develop true communication, awareness, and trust.

Taylor’s lesson program is built on the belief that horseback riding is about more than just riding skills. It is about developing confidence, patience, responsibility, and respect. Each lesson emphasizes safety, proper horsemanship, and individualized instruction tailored to each rider’s goals, experience level, and comfort.

Her goal is to create a welcoming, supportive environment where riders can grow at their own pace while forming meaningful bonds with their horses. Whether a student is taking their very first ride or continuing to advance their skills, Taylor is committed to guiding them every step of the way.
